  • The Trade Show will span the full two days of the Winter Conference, with layout changes to ensure the best possible Trade Show experience for exhibitors and attendees. More information will be communicated to exhibitors in the coming days.
  • MABA will once again host “virtual” RUP and CEU credit seminars on December 15-16, 2022. These sessions will be open to anyone registered for the 2023 Winter Conference by that time. Additional information will be shared in the coming weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions: 2023 Winter Conference & Trade Show

Why the change to a two-day conference?
The MABA Winter Conference has been a premier industry event for many years. We want to make sure it meets your needs. The change reflects feedback we continue to receive from members indicating a two-day conference is easier to attend in today’s busy environment. It also reflects prior year attendance data showing us that the first two days of the Winter Conference are extremely well-attended, and “Day Three” sees less attendance.

Will this result in fewer sessions and credit hours available?
Hosting two full days allows us to offer nearly as many credit hours as we would otherwise offer in three days. In addition, several RUP and CEU hours will be offered during virtual seminars in December.

Will Applicator Training opportunities change?
Applicator training is a critical part of the conference and these activities remain the same. Applicators can count on a full-day, six RUP/CEU program on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. The Applicator Training will also be available via live broadcast during that time for anyone registering for the conference. We will once again strive to offer in-demand credits (Right of Way, etc.) on these programs.

Will the conference be available virtually?
Most sessions will be in-person only. Applicator Training on Tuesday, January 10 and a select number of other sessions will be available via live broadcast. Some adjustments and improvements are planned to the session broadcasts based on what we learned this year.

When will session agendas, registration and other details be released?
Additional information about this year’s Winter Conference will be announced in mid-fall. For now we ask that you save the date for the Winter Conference and Trade Show, January 10-11, 2023 and Virtual RUP Seminars on December 15-16, 2022.
