Scholarship Golf Outing

Memorial Golf Outing
September 4, 2025 – The Fields, Ithaca, MI

Originally known as the Ed Brown Memorial Golf Outing, the Memorial Golf Outing today remembers all those whose lives were dedicated to growing the Michigan agricultural industry. This special event also raises money for the Educational Trust. This year, the Memorial Outing is scheduled just ahead of the MABA Outlook Conference and a great place to stop on the way up north! Additional information will be announced in Summer 2024.

Fishing Trip Raffle – Prize valued at over $2,500 CAN, generously donated by Pine Portage Lodge. This trip features a 3 Day American Plan Fishing Vacation for Two on beautiful Kabinakagami Lake, Ontario, Canada! The package includes all meals, accommodations, guest services, boat, motor/gas, float plane flight from base in Wawa, Ontario to the lodge and return, in three days.

The raffle drawing will be held on January 14, 2026 at the MABA Winter Conference.

Established in 1974, The Michigan Agri-Business Association Educational Trust has awarded over $500,000 in scholarships to students involved in curriculums related to agri-business. The scholarship funds available each year are determined by the Trustees, and include the earnings from the Educational Trust endowment, which is funded by proceeds from the June Scholarship Golf Outing, the September Memorial Golf Outing, other fund-raising events, and other personal and corporate donations.
