February 1, 2024 | The Michigan Agri-Business Association and many across Michigan agriculture were saddened this week to learn about the passing of Phillip “Phil” Schmiege. Phil was a leader who took time to give back to our agricultural industry, his state and local community. His contributions to agriculture included serving as Michigan Agri-Business Association Chairman in 1999, and supporting the next generation of ag professionals as a MABA Educational Trustee until the time of his passing. Most important, Phil was an all-around great guy and a good friend to many, including our MABA team. Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Schmiege family as we remember Phil Schmiege.
